Today, one of our grade 8 classes travelled to the Salvation Army to help organize food and presents for the Christmas hampers. This was a great chance to give back to our community. I have posted some photos and videos from the students
documenting what they learned, how they felt after and how they can take this forward. There was joy in the air and hearts felt full.

One shy student (who did not want to be on video) said: “Helping the Salvation Army meant to me that I was helping organize things people will need this year. Things more important than stuff that we might want. These people actually need this food. It also showed me how much food and stuff, like toothbrushes are desperately needed at the Salvation Army to help families in need.”
